two weeks ago, as the day of moving out loomed nearer I was scared out of my mind.
I didn't want to move out. In no way was i excited to leave the comfort of my own bed, my own room, my own food, my own comfort.
I was scared to give up the comfort of home. The comfort of parents and family that loved me being literally seconds away.
Until now i never really realized how sheltered and blessed of a life i have lived.
But despite my fears, you know what? College is Nice.
My roommates are awesome, we have a little bit of every kind of personality in my apartment.
I live on the outdoor and recreation floor, we hiked kanaraville falls yesterday and it was so fun!
No curfew, but honestly, the latest I've stayed up so far is 12:30. I'm a rebel, I know.
The campus here is so pretty and not too big. i walk everywhere and i love just taking it all in.
Free bouldering at the gym all year!
Everyone is so nice here. everyone
I now realize that i actually can cook. I haven't eaten out once yet. thanks mom
Even though the work load is a lot greater, I don't feel nearly as stressed here as i did in high school. I feel like I have so much more time and freedom to get what needs to be done, done.
As of now I'm pretty content here in Eccles C104.
I'll let you know if that changes any time soon.
i'm glad liam keetch is taking the move well, too.
ReplyDeleteDude I gotta talk to you about minecraft. I feel as if you are my mentor, purely because you introduced me. Hopefully you don't go live your real life so often that you can't play minecraft... I shudder at the thought.
ReplyDeletedanny, let us converse. text me whenever. my number is 801-822-4086. i always have time for minecraft.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are having a grand time in the City of Cedar...despite the fact that I miss you terribly and so do your favorite nieces.
ReplyDeleteI saw pics of your Kanaraville exploits and they look quite enjoyable. I'm glad there is a horse girl to balance out the wolf boy. ;)
Love you!
