I had the opportunity to visit SUUyesterday. I love everything about that place, but here are just a few of the highlights of the trip:
The campus is so awesome! It's just the right mix of new and shiny with old and ornate. And get this! we met in The Great Hall and holy cow, that is the closest i think i will ever get to the actual great hall in this muggle life.
The Housing is ridiculous! Eccles Living and Learning Center (where i will be residing) is only around 5 years old. here's what a room in Eccles looks like-
SUU offers a program called the Rural Health Scholars for Pre-Med students (like me); and because of this program, SUU boasts the highest acceptance rates into med-school in the state. each year they average 90 + Percent. In 2010 they had 100% of their pre-med grads get accepted into med-schools.
Cedar City is the coolest town that i have always heard about but never actually been. we have always just passed through it on our way to St. George or Vegas. I love it there. It has a Cafe Rio and Walmart. I'm set for life.
And of coarse, i saved the best for last, i got a free T-shirt at the end!
so lately i have been going through a little bit of a musical drought. partially due to the fact that everything on the radio right now is utter crap, and partially because i cannot find my ipod for the life of me.
However, there have been a couple bright spots here and there.
